Hi Dawn, I am also an Regence employee. I work in the Seattle office. I'd love to ban with you, but after what I have seen with Regence, I have pretty much given up on them. Because they are self insured, they can do what the heck they want, no matter what anyone says. It's pretty embarassing to say you work for the insurance company, yet have such crappy benefits. My salvation came a few months ago when my husband got new insurance thru his new employer. The cover it as long as med necessary. So needless to say, I dropped my Regence insurance like a hot potato...I now have Aetna, thru Costco....Lots of luck, I hope that things do turn around someday with Regence, they cannot ignore us forever!!!

Hi..I have Regence of Wash and my Husband has Regence of Oregon..fought it all the way to the top of both companies and went to attorneys....THEY WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER IT...ended up Self pay 1/16/01. (even tried to buy my own insurance, etc.)
