Question:
Should i go with Cigna Or Aetna in Minnesota to get approved

I just got insurance through my job at prudential and their choices are cigna or aetna or HMO. which one should i use to get approved right away or have the least possible problems. Do you think i will have to wait to get approved because my insurance is new.    — Natasha O. (posted on July 31, 2001)

Check each benefit book clearly and find out what the exclusions and limitations are then call them to confirm it and write down who you talk to and you can then ask each policy about their turnaround time etc. Check if you have a pre existing clause as well.

Hi there! I have Aetna and I chose them after they confirmed that they would cover the surgery. I just started my job 2 months ago. I agree with the previous post though. Make sure to check for those exclusions. Call them up--They will tell you! Good luck!
