Question:
Ever fight your employer legally to get this surgery covered?

I work for for a local health insurance company (in Oregon) and they don't cover WLS. I am going to fight them legally as my employer if I have to.. was wondering if anyone out there has tried this and what was the outcome?    — Dawn R. (posted on August 6, 2001)

Yep that is who I am working with. I understand this will be a pretty unique case so was hoping to find others out there. I work for the insurance company and am approaching them as an employer now rather than an insurance company as the appeals thus far haven't worked.
