Question:
Has anyone sued their insurance company to cover this surgery?

Hi there.... I have never heard of anyone suing there company. But, There is a link on OH to talk to the lawyers. Maybe for them to give you some advice. It really depends on what your company that you work for and what is in there policy. Good luck trying to work to get the surgery... Ronda

Yep, google search...you can get a great deal of information via the web and I had to appeal to medicaid to get my surgery...I found out that BOTH the FDA & another agency stated that anything other than wls does NOT work etc...I won my appeal, but also as the other poster stated...check out the lawyers on OH...good luck and God Bless!

never had of tht, the only thing i know is the doctor appealling the denial with medical notes/info to show tht u really do need the surgery. good luck

Obesitylaw.com-800.00 they will fight to the tooth to get your surgery. I filed with them to get me out of the 24 weeks classes with kaiser to get the surgery I deserved and won.they are wonderful
