Question:
Has anyone had medicare as a secondary insurance?

I too have Medicare as a secondary but I did not have it until after I had surgery. However, I was told by a friend who had RNY that Medicare does cover this type of surgery so I say give it a shot and see what happens. Medicare also covers afterwards for a tummy tuck so I have been told if you need one. Good luck on getting approved for surgery :)

Ye s, Medicare does cover this procedure I had my surgery 5/4/10 and was approve by medicare in less than 2 weeks I was 5'6 263lbs and had a problems also with hypertention but they approve me quickly.
