Dr. Steven Merola takes HMO versions of Medicaid, such as HIP. He is located in Flushing, NY if that is not too far from where you are in Jersey...

I live near Pittsburgh, PA and several doctors in my area accept medical assistance. (Welfare Insurance). I had my surgery August of last year and it was completely covered and I have medical assistance. My surgeon is Dr Elias and he was wonderful. My weight pre-op was 237 lbs. I now weigh around 125 lbs. I went from a size 22-24 to now a size 4. Good Luck to you! Donna
