i AM CONSIDERING THE LAP BAND SURGERY. IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN RECOMEND A DR.

My mom and aunt both had surgery done by Dr. Bobby Basker-Rau? He is in Palm Springs, and is one of the docs that is on OH, if not here, he is on ABSA.org They have both been thrilled with the care that they have recieved.... he does require a "Co-pay" of sorts.

I would recommend Dr. Suh from Crown Bariatric Surgery in Wildomar, Calif. I would trust him if I needed surgery myself. He has excellent outcomes and is a great surgeon. He is, also, a board certified center for excellence in bariatric surgery. I may be bias as I work for the center, Inland Valley Medical Center and I am a dietitian, however, I did trust and request him specifically to perform lap surgery on my son for his appendicitis a year ago and totally trust him as a surgeon personally and professionally.

i was considering lapband to but learned about VSG and had it in may 2006. Omg is has been so great. Just a sugestion that you learn about VG befor you get band. Try going to wwwlapsf.com to learn about all your choices. Good luck...they are wonderfull surgeons and have a lot of very happy pts. If you want to know about my experiences please just ask...All my weight is gone (110 lbs) and i have had 0 side effects. I work out 2 times a day and have never felt or looked better.
