Question:
A need a lawyer to sue my insurance company Aetna in NJ

I noticed your BMI is only 38. Do they have a 40BMI and over requirement. Some insurance companies are very strict about that.

Do you have any medical issues? Otherwise, you could increase your food intake; unitl you are at 40 BMI. I had to do that to get my surgery.

Be careful. My surgeons office got a preapproval for my surgery but after I had the surgery, the insurance company said it was not a covered benefit. I have blue cross, but it is through a self funded company. Most blue cross policies cover the surgery. I have appealled numerous times with no success. The "letter" was sent to my Dr and I never saw it until after the surgery. It had a standard disclaimer so basically it wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Even the hospital received preapproval via their standard practices for my hospital stay. I have now been turned over to collections for the hospital bill. The doctors office waived their fees after I talked to the doctor about it. Good luck, but make sure if you get approval that it is valid.
