Question:
I was denied by my insurance (BC/BS), so tomorrow I have an appt. with my PCP,
she was very much in favor of this surgery.I am hoping that she will write an appeal letter.Is there anything that I should be prepared to take with me., in order to help her with this.I thought about having all my diet history listed out for her. But I have already done that and my surgeon submitted that to insurance. I am afraid to do that again, because I did not keep a copy for myself, and I think that they should match. Also I am a hairdresser, I was wondering if there are any post-op hairdressers here, and how long they were off work. — STAR W. (posted on January 2, 2000)

I was covered by BCBS of NC. They differ from state to state.
Redo your diet history and be real specific. Also, make sure all your
co-morbidities are listed. Good luck Lou Ann
