Question:
Are there any support groups in Central Ohio?

I live about 35 miles southeast of Columbus Ohio and have not been able to locate a support group in my area. I know a couple of the hospitals in Columbus have meetings for those that will be patients there, but I am choosing to go to the Bariatric Treatment Center (pending the approval from AETNA). I would love to correspond and/or meet somebody in my area who has had the Roux-en-Y surgery. I would especially like for my husband to meet a "regular" person who has had the surgery as opposed to those in the surgeons office that we have met. Carloyn, BTC also has an online group through Yahoogroups.com Search under Ohio Bariatric Surgery. There are a couple hundred people on this list many can give you names and times of support groups in your area. Lisa
