Question:
BC/BS State Health Plan PPO

I call BC/BS state health plan ppo and they said that they did cover the surgery ,I would like to know if anyone has had any problem getting approved by this plan.    — tmparker (posted on April 2, 2009)

I had the same insurance and had no problems (RNY in Nov)their is some requierments you have to meet like the 10% Wt loss & psych eval,other than little things like that I had no problems with the insurance really easy to work with. I have this plan and had no problems, was put through the first time. You will have some requirements follow them and you should be fine. Good luck!:0)

I just got a lapband with my BCBS fep. I could not get them to pay well on the preventative supplies for diabetes but they should pay for most of my band.

I am in Michigan and had no problem with BC/BS, in fact they were wonderful!
