Anybody have Cigna on NC?

CIGNA is my husband's primary provider, and my secondary. They approved our lap RNY surgeries within 3 weeks of our surgeon's letter of medical necessity. They also paid in-network rates for our out-of-state surgeon, because there was no one closer to us that could match his qualifications to perform laparascopic RNY surgery. They did not require a psychological consult, nutritional consult, nor any other supporting letters from any other physicians. Good luck!

Cigna is my husband's primary insurance and my secondary. They approved me within two weeks after receiving the paperwork from my surgeon. I found Cigna extremely easy to talk to and deal with. Good Luck on your journey.
