Question:
I need help with pain meds after gastric bypass

I have a chronic pain problem and have used narcotics to contro the pain when in got bad. I had a gastric bypass, and now my meds arent working. Everyday I am in pain. Ive lost so much weight but I cant enjoy life like this. My Dr. doesnt understand the malabsorption problem Im haveing I want him to work with me ,Ive been using oxycodone 30mg. and some other pill but I dont absorb either. I was on the duragesic patch (sleepy, but no pain killer for me. It kicked my behind if ran out, but oxycodone would too. My doc was so great. He finally gave me a dilaudid patch. It worked so great, then he was called to Afghanistan. I had to go on the suboxone program, then in PAIN always. One doc put me on Tramadol. I act weird, and it's really bad for kidneys, liver, teeth too. I don't know. Wish they could find a plant for pain... no side effects... My son says nanobots will someday take all ails away, But I'm too old too see that day.
