WHAT DOCTORS IN THE NEW YORK AREA ACCEPT MEDICAID?

I only checked with doctors that did the DS type surgery but none of them accepted Medicaid! So, I think its going to be hard to find one that even performs other type surgeries! I could be wrong though. There might be a God send out there. I know as far as hospital costs go they accept Medicaid so that part of it will be covered. All doctors fees might be out of pocket! Sorry I wasn't of more help!

Check on the website www.weightlosssurgery.com I believe that the Cori Centers has a branch in New York as well as Michigan. They are here in Illinois and they take the medicaid card for Illinois. I can't see why they wouldn't take it in NY. Their staff is superb. I was approved in 4 days and only had to pay $125 for the psych eval. That's it!! Try them. Good Luck!!!

I don't know about now, but I seem to remember rading awhile back that Dr. Elliot Goodman took medicaid patients.
