Question:
I'd love to hear from people who have had Lap-Band surgery

Hi Everyone :) I've decided to have lap-band surgery and I'm currently working on getting all the pre-op testing done! Tomorrow I go for blood work, thur GI...fun fun! lol Seriously I'd love to hear from real people that have had it. The pros & cons... Do you regret it? Do you feel sick often? Hey .. I have been a Bandster for nearly three (!) years, and it's hands-down the best thing I have done for myself since marrying my husband. I am still on my journey; over halfway there, but I relish the control the Band gives me over my culinary life. I wish you nothing but the best! (Posting over at the Band forum is a great idea, btw.)

Onmyway, Good Luck on your new journey. I moved from NY to Florida and had lapband done Dec 2005. No regrets but it is a slower weightloss than gastric by pass. Just try now to eat slowly and chew well. Drink lots of water and excerise every day. Good Luck to you Deltona
