Anyone know the requirements clearance needed to be approved for RNY with bcbsga hmo?

You could call your insurance company & they can tell you what their requirements are. They may even send you to their website where you could print their requirements on line. Most insurance companies require the following: 1. 3 months nutritional counseling 2. 1 time Psych evaluation 3. Pulmonary testing 4. Family Doctor - to show office notes of what your weight was for the last 3 years. 5. Cardiologist - he/she may refer you for a stress test, nuclear stress test, etc. depending on your heart health condition. Hope this helps. Ruth
