Question:
Do anyone have Cigna in South Carolina. Also, was it hard to get approval from them.

I noticed that no one has responded to your question yet,so I thought you may appreciate some input. I had Cigna of Maine and they were VERY difficult to work with. They required a 6 month physician supervised diet (which I did). I crossed every t and dotted every i. After all was said and done I was denied on 12-20-08....By the grace of God my husbands insurance changed on 1-1-09. We submitted on 1-2-09 and I was approved with BC BS on 1-5-09. Up until I was trying to get approval for the Lap Band Cigna was an excellent company to work with..possibly this procedure was more than they wanted to pay for. Good luck, I know it varies from state to state. Please if I can be of any more help let me know. Kimberly

HELLO I LIVE IN NEW MEXICO I HAVE CIGNA AND EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH ALMOST 2 MONTHS OUT WONT HURT TO TRY THEY DO WANT PAST HISTORY GOOD IF U HAVE IT I SAY 2 YEARS BACK THAT WAS A BIG HELP FOR ME!
