when you call your insurance comp. who do you talk to about the status

Hi, I have Aetna PPO Ins. and I am waiting for approval, I called the number on my card the other day and they said that They do everything via mail... :( Bummed me out, I'll just have to keep in touch with my contact at the Bariatric Treatment center and she will let me know when she hears something. Hopefully you will have better luck with your Ins. co. !!! Best of luck! Renee Donalson
