Has anyone had approval problems with Cigna hmo of OH &what?

I have CIGNA PPO/PPA in Ohio. I have not been denied but they are dragging things out asking for additional information. I am finding that they operate very slowly. I call every few days to check on the status. After my first request, they wanted additional information. However it took them over 1 month to send an 'official' letter stating that. Because I had been calling, I already had the information gathered before the surgeon received the letter. Otherwise I would have lost another month. Good luck. Are you having problems getting approval?

It took Cigna 2 weeks to approve me. I am having surgery on 2/1. If you don't mind, email me and maybe I can help you out. I am in Columbus, OH.

I have Cigna HMO with my work and it took them 6 hours to give Kim there approval,,,,,,,,,,,They were GREAT, you can read my story on my personal web site......just click my name
