Question:
does anyone have bluecross blue sheild of oklahoma?

today is sunday 5-9-10. i have decied in my mind i want to have the lap band. i have surfed the web all weekend almost nonstop researching about the band. just from what i have read i should qualify, but the only problem i see i might have is i do not have any documetation of diets i have been on, its always been on my own. does anyone know if that will cause be problems? oh and i went on my insurances website and didnt find anything on bariatrics!?!?!? my wife is calling the tomorrow! sorry for the rambling any help or ideas will be helpful.    — kelogs3 (posted on May 9, 2010)

I have BCBS of Illinois and I live in TN,Have you been to your first consult with the surgeon yet? They done all the work for me I never had to contact insurance the Dr office sent all the documentation and I was approved quickly! I had RNY on Feb 18 and I have lost 50 pounds and feel great! Goodluck !
