Question:
ANYONE WITH A WRITTEN EXCLUSION FOR WLS

My policy has an exclusion but it only states for the treatment of obesity. I am still trying to get clarification through the insurance company and benefits department before I even begin my process. Virginia law has mandates for providing care for the morbidly obese and so I have contacted them as well. Probably best to talk to the benefits department and see if they have a rider and ask them what your options are. Let me know how it works out. I need all the help and support I can get. Good Luck!
