Great West was my secondary insurance. I do know they do approve for medical necessity. I was denied but the doc at great west reviewing my case asked my pcpc why he did not refer me to another doc. I changed docs and then it was approved. I guess it was they paid what mine did not. e mail me at [email protected]

They give you the runnaround and you have to be very persisitant. Call them and ask about the status. Keep track of names and dates. It took me 10 months to get approved.
