Question:
Has anyone ever had WLS having Harvard Pilgrim(POS)as their insurance company?

I have insurance through Harvard Pilgram Healthy Plan. I had no problems with getting coverage for my surgery. My BMI was just over the necessary limit, but I had Type II Diabetes, Hypertension and Sleep Apnea as well. Your surgeons office should be able to work with you and the insurance company for approval. Good luck. This surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself.. no more of the previously mentioned problems!! PAM
