Question:
About how long does it take before you can actually have the surgery?

I was just curious about the time frame from the time you first made an appointment with the surgeon till the time you scheduled your surgery? This is a big deal for me and is something I have been considering for a VERY long time. My first appointment was Jan.9,2012 with the surgeon. My surgery date was July 31,2012. If you want to chat about it, look me up. I too, was scared and finally got the courage to go through with it. It was the best thing I ever did for myself.

First it depends on the BMI, & the insurance you have. If you can show proof that you have been trying to loose weight on your own. It took me 2 months . Because I provide files from jenny Craig, and 4 yrs worth of medical records from an endocrinologist Which is Doctor who specializes in weight loss , bye prescribing diet pills . If you have these proof your insurance will not deny you at all. You can get approve instantly . When i first came to my appointment I had all my medical record with me. They look at me and said when will you like to have your surgery. I said how soon can I have it? they said in 2 weeks. I waited two months so I can put in time off from work and finish out my semester school .
