Question:
Need help with an appeal letter for Aetna QPOS

I just got my first denial letter from Aetna and need some ideas for an appeal letter. I have already gotten copies of everything from my doctors office and plan to have my husband take some photos of me to send in with my appeal letter. Aetna is really good about approving this surgery. Are you sure there wasn't some sort of mistake or missing information? Doublecheck why Aetna is denying you--I know of other people that have inadvertedly (sp?) forgotton to include a really important piece of 'evidence.' Good Luck!
