Question:
State of Florida PPO Plan. Has anyone had difficulty getting approval for surgery?

I also have bc/bs of florida and i had no problem getting approved other than - i was denied 2 times because they had the wrong procedure code on the paperwork. So if you get denied make sure you find out the reason why cause it could just be a mistake like mine was. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions at [email protected]. Hi Dixie, I have BCBS with the State of FLorida. I had very little problem getting approved. See my profile for what was needed. I did hear that they have also want a 6 month doctor supervised diet, but I would check with them. I found the reps that handled the state of florida employees very informative. Also, if you have a surgeon in mind their office will know what BCBS needs. Call them and ask. Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheryl -115lbs 10 months.
