Question:
Has anyone changed Insurance Co. after getting approval from present Ins. Co. ?

I was approved for WLS with Unicare Ins. through my husbands employer. I've gone through everything from the seminar to the surgical consultation. Just as I am getting ready to find out my surgery date. My husband's insurance is changing as of June 1st. Weight for Life and the Dr.'s office can't guarantee a surgery date before June 1st. Unfortunately I have no answer for you, but I recently found out that my husbands insurance will be changing too on June 1st. So if you find out any information would you please forward it to me at [email protected] Thanks and good luck!

Hi, I don't know if this helps or not but I was approved from my insurance company and about half way through the program that my doctor sets up, my company went from Harvard health to BC/BS in January 2002. I just had to refresh my referral and have it sent to the new insurance company.I had my surgery on March 28th. Hope it helps, Good Luck!!
