will mihealth cover WLS?
Hello! I live in southeastern Michigan; Southgate (Wayne county) to be exact, and I'm wondering if mihealth medicaid through Michigan dept. of Community Health) would cover Lap RNY? Howdy, There is a site here in obesityhelp ... look at top links to where
it says "local help" .. find your state.... look for insurance in
your state and see if others like you have had surgery and what they say
*comment* about it... best wishes..

This is a little far from you, but I read on this site one time that The
Hurley Center for Comprehensive Weight Loss accepts Michigan Medicaid, the
only thing is, I dont think they do the lap procedure, only open, but I
could be wrong. They are located in Flint, and one of the toll free
munbers that I found here is 1-800-871-1811. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

The MMPC in Grand RaPIDS MI. ACCEPT MEDICAID. OrCall Dr. Randal Bakers
office. That is who is doing mine and so far I think he is a good doctor.
