Question:
Anyone approved for WLS in Wa., State with open medical coupon?

I would think with a medical coupon through the state you would have to have it pre approved and have your doc refer you to a surgeon.....I dunnow though....:)

I'd call Simonowitz's office & ask them what they're experience has been. Also, you could go to the Simonowitz yahoo group & ask there.

My sister was on WA state medical last summer/fall. I think that for everything you have to have a referral. I understand that at least last year they were paying for the surgery as long as you meet the requirement of medical necessity. I'm not sure where Renton is? If you're near Spokane I can give you the name of a surgeon in Spokane that I know accepted it last year. He uses Sacred Heart and they accept medicaid too.
