Question:
~*sigh*~

Well recieved my denial letter today, It wasnt a big surprise to me, since I started with the appeal, that John Alden was very Rude, and Uncaring to me. Ive come to realize that alot of things need to change, one being our state laws, Something ive seem to be preaching about for the last month or so On here. With Indianas bill passed, and I seen on a post if I recall that MD is also having a smiliar bill passed, my options were to call the Governors Office today to find out what I can do as a Ohio Resident to get this passed also, or at least get it started. I ended up speaking to a operator at the Lt.Governors Office (614)466-3396 who was very sweet, and very considerate of me. And who also took the time to give me the name and number of my local rep. to get ahold of to help me. I Did call his office, and spoke to another nice gentleman, that said he would speak to the rep, and get back with me. I Also plan on sending him a packet prepared by me, information on Obesity, the cost, the effect, Personal stories, and letters, and Health related issues, just to name a few. I hope that someday I can look back, and be thankful I followed through with my gut instincts. And that is, YOU NEED LAWS! I spoke to my husband and he is going to take the other job, and we will have different insurance, and maybe just maybe I will end up not having to fight so hard for this in the end with Paramount. But Even if I dont, I hope I can make the difference for someone else In Ohio, by continueing fighting to get this bill passed. Please I Urge you all, No matter if your from Ohio or not. To try to educate your public officials about Obesity and this surgery. Education is where we must start to make the changes. Again I Offer any help to anyone in Ohio to get on the band wagon. Please!Take the time to make a Difference!!! I do have numbers, addresses, and If you need to find your rep the Number I posted to the Lt. Governor, is where I Would start, they were very kind to me, and took the time to get the number, Follow through with your calls, with letters, and take action..*Smiles* Sorry this is so long...    — Ann A. Oh Ann... (((((hugs))))) I know how frustrated you are, and I am truly sorry that you're going through this. Have you considered speaking to your husband's employer? I would think they'd be willing to step in on your behalf if they knew it was going to cost them an employee. Grrr...

I send you a B-I-G Hug. I am truly sorry for your frustation. I have already contacted my Lt. Governor, Senators and Congressmen. I will keep you in my thoughts and you are right, we should, whether we have had the surgery or are just waiting, continue the fight to help others who follow us. God bless and keep you. May you find a solution soon.
