Question:
Has anyone had any experience with Keystone Health Plan Central In Hbg PA area?

My policy doesn't specifically prohibit the surgery but it is on a "special request" basis. I have been asking a lot of questions and already am getting negative "vibes". Told stuff like it is rarely approved, etc. Any incites would be helpful.    — cheryl R. (posted on August 12, 2000)

Sorry, I don't have your insurance, but I had a friend who did and it took some time to get approved. DOCUMENT everyting and if you have a good surgeon, they will write a letter on your behalf explaining how this proceedure will benifit both you and them (they may not have to pay for prescriptions, insulin, sleep studies. . .after your recovery). Anyway, good luck and let me know who you picked for your surgeon. I'm in the central PA area too.
