Question:
Hoping MedmutualOh is as good as approving as I've heard!!

I have medmutualoh and have heard they have a high percentage of approval, but as of now I have no health concerns other than osterarthritis. Will this hurt my chances even thought my bmi is 49.3?    — [Anonymous] (posted on January 18, 2002)

Medical Mutual approved my surgery at BTC in less than aweek. And I was 291 pounds and I am 5'7 so it should go through fast just give 5 year weight history and diets you've tryed.Good luck

MMOH approves quite fast but you do need a 5 yr. documented overweight by 100 lbs. How fast you are approved is determined by how quick the facility is to send in the documentation. The first facility delayed my approval by about 3 wks. because they "forgot" the 5 yr. weight history. Because of that & several conflicting statements, I changed doctors. Good luck.

They approved me after two days and I didn't have any major problems at the time they didn't ask. Just make sure that you stay within the network.
