Question:
Aetna said should know Friday is this good and right?

Last Friday I talked to Aetna and they said my case had just been sent to review. I called today and nobody knew anything so I was finally transferred to Kathy and she was looking through my file and said it would be awhile it would take longer than she thought she would call me. The end of the day came and no call so I called back and now she says there is four cases in front of me that it would take 3 or 4 days. The thing is she sounded mad that I called her back do you think this will hurt my decision? Will I really know something by Friday? Thanks for you input..    — Alicia K. Be patient, by friday is too quick, it took mine 2 weeks, I have Cigna, don't keep pestering them, if a week went by, wait couple days then call back.

hi i have aetna also, and they are very good about approving i had no comorbids and i was a lightweight about 267, and i was approved but it took about 6 weeks to get approval, so hold on you shoulden't have a problem but it may take up to 10 weeks.

You're lucky! I've been dealing w/ Aetna since JULY! I was denied and am appealing...
