Question:
My insurance changes in January from Aetna to Cigna--anyone??

I am half way home to approval and my insurance is going to change. My doctor does not take Cigna, so I have found a new doctor. My appointment is Jan 30. Do you think if I get Aeta HMO to approve it by year end, Cigna will have to approve??    — Linda F. (posted on November 4, 2002)

New insurance ....unfortunately...new auth. If you were in the middle some treatment then they would have to cover it...you will likely sail trough...just have to resubmit all the paperwork ;-(

nope, you will have to start over and meet Cigna's requirements. Good Luck....this really stinks for you.
