Question:
Do you think this is good news from my insurance co?

I've already been denied once. BTC sent an appeal in for me and the insurance company says I need to have the psyche eval (I'm scheduled to do it). My question is, if I do okay on the eval, am I approved? Why would they have me do the eval and then deny me anyway? I'm concerned with approval because my BMI is only 39 and only have minor co-morbidities. Did any of you go out an get the eval and then end up being denied anyway?    — Kimberly S. If having a psych eval is part of their requirement then they generally won't pass your request for approval on until ALL of the information is received. Please do not think that their request for a psych eval is a guaranteed approval, it's what's required no matter what they decide. Good luck on your journey.
