i work for walmart my ins turned me down bcbs
blue cross and blue shield handles our ins but walmart put stipulations on it as no cosmetic or weight loss claims what can i do--- i am going to appeal--- do i have a chance of turning them around---and who is this lawyer i keep hearing about and how much does he charge — sandy E. Although walmart has added an exclusion, I would fight this. Reason I
say this is because you have the perfect opportunity to fight a big
corporation for descrimination and they don't like to look bad in the
public eye.I know that you don't want to be a hero, and I know you just
want the surgery, but, Walmart also doesn't want publicity about
descrimination either I am sure. Try and attorney although at this time I
don't know his name..it's Walter Lindstom I think. Good luck to you hon.

I have BC/BS as well, Anthem BC/BS . I was denied, as well as my appeal. I
talked to Walter Lindstrom he charges 350$ for one letter. But I decided to
see if the Insurance Commissioner in my state could help.3 weeks later I
was approved. Plus the Insuance Commissioner is free.

Sandy I am using walmart ins too I go to the dr tomorrow.I am not sure what
is going to happenned but I know I will fight it. I need it to live I am
5`4 and 332 pounds this is my last hope. I feel like if i don't have it I

DEAR SANDY, GOOD LUCK, I WENT THROUGH THIS AND WALMART EMPLOYEESDO NOT HAVE
THE ACTUAL BCBS INSURANCE, WALMART ONLY PAYS THEM TO DO THE PAPERWORK SO
THEREFORE WE DO NOT HAVE BCBS, IF IT WAS BCBS THEN YOU WOULD NOT BE GOING
THROUGH THIS HORROR, I SUGGEST YOU LOOK INTO THE ADULT REHABILITATION, IF
YOU ARE WORKING AND CAN GET A DOCTOR TO SAY YOU NEED THIS SURGERY AND HE
WILL DO IT FOR YOU THEN THERE IS THE CHANCE THAT THEY MAY PAY FOR ALL OF
IT. GOOD LUCK, I WISH YOU THE BEST, I UNDERSTAND BECAUSE I AM IN THE SAME
BOAT, BUT DONT GIVE UP THERE ARE PROGRAMS THAT WILL PAY FOR THIS, IF I CAN
BE OF FURTHER HELP I WOULD BE HAPPY TO DO SO. I HOPE THIS WILL AT LEAST
GIVE YOU THE HOPE THAT THERE IS HOPE OUT THERE AND WE JUST HAVE TO KEEP
