Question:
When do you have to pay your co-pay

I have prudential hmo. I'm approved but was wondering if I will get billed my $200 copay or if I will have to pay it at the hospital?    — [Anonymous] (posted on August 27, 2001)

I've heard a lot of people got billed it at the hospital, still others got sent a bill, probably be best to ask your individual hospital.

It seems most surgeons require copays up front the hospitals often bill. I would check ahead of time so you aren't surprised when you get there :)
