Dr. Aguirre in Ensenada charges $6900.00 through 2003. In January, price goes to $8500.00. This price includes everything: anesthesia, hospital, supplies, surgeon.

I paid $9,995 for my band with Dr Ortiz. That included the hospital and hotel stay, all the pre-op tests, and transportation all over (from San Diego airport, to the hotel, to all the doctor's appointments, to the hospital, back to the airport). The only thing that I paid extra for was the flight, the wonderful meal at the hotel the night before my surgery, and a few bottles of tequila to take home! I did find a local doctor that would do the fills, but I decided to go back to Dr Ortiz for the fills. I do it in a day, I fly down in the morning, get the fill, then I am home that afternoon. For his patients, he doesn't charge for the fills, but the lab charges $110 for the floroscope.
