Can anyone give info on Highmark Blue Sheild and their approval of WLS ?

We are switching from Aetna U.S.Healyhcare to Highmark and want to be sure my fat removal will be covered/Please share any info you have about Highmark Bluesheild.    — [Anonymous] (posted on February 20, 2002)

My RNY was covered thru Highmark BCBS June 2001. I had no problems getting approved! Good Luck!
