Question:
Does anyone know of a Dr. WLS friendly in Baton Rouge?

I am not in Baton Rouge, but the office I am going through has an office in Baton Rouge. I am using Neweigh in Houston and I know they have an office there. Their website is www.neweighweb.com Good luck!

Tracey, I'm in New Orleans. If you don't mind the drive, Dr. Louis Martin (and his associate Dr. Scalia) are top notch. Dr. Martin is world renowned. Temple (lap rny 12/23/02, down 97 lbs!)

Tracey, Are you looking for a surgeon or primary care physician. My surgeon is in Houston, but I went to a doctor here in Baton Rouge for medical clearance. He is really nice and cute too! His name is Dr. Albergamo and his office is at the Baton Rouge clinic on Perkins Rd. He did question my decision for surgery, but did not discourage or criticize my choice. I have been going to him for 6 months now and I really like him.

I used Dr. Kenneth Jones in Shreveport, LA and he was wonderful. He is very careful and cautious regarding Pre-op Testing and Post Op care. He has done over 3,000 surgeries and he has wonderful statistics. His nursing staff are very kind and helpful. You get called back quickly..even by the doctor! I can't say enough nice things about him. His number is 318-222-7584! Give him a call!
