Question:
BCBS Community Blue PPO of Michigan approve Lap?

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Community Blue PPO, and was wondering if anyone with the same insurance company has been approved for the lap RNY? I meet all of the requirements for the procedure to be open, however, I want it done lap.    — [Anonymous] (posted on October 31, 2001)

I can't really answer your question, though I would like to talk with you about your ins. Does it cover open and lap? I live in MN with BCBS PPO MI insurance. I really want this done. How hard was it for you to get the ins co to give permission? Please email me at [email protected].
