How do you purchase private insurance that will cover wls?

I have Trigon BC/BS KeyCare, which is a PPO not an HMO. I found I can get my same insurance on my own through them directly for about $30 more. They approved my surgery in less than 1 week. www.trigon.com Good Luck!

You can usually purchase individual coverage through an Insurance Broker or Agent, I would check your local yellow pages. Also, you can access insurance carrier sites directly, for instance, www.blueshield.com. There are also web sites such as www.ehealthinsurance.com that can guide you. Good luck.
