Question:
Can anyone tell me if Blue Cross of Illinois through SEARS pays for WLS?

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL PPO and they cover the surgery. However you must fit their criteria (must be medically necessary, have co-morbidities, documented Dr. supervised diets and a psych exam). Hope this helps! Just call your plan and see what they require.
