Question:
Has anyone dealt with Cigna's Intracorp?

Hi. I just found out today that Cigna works with a company called "Tntracorp". I am waiting for an approval. Does anyone have any experience with this company Intracorp? Thanks!!    — ellton (posted on March 27, 2001)

Yes i am dealing with Cinga PPO. my hospital date is for April 18 ..this was certified on March 14 by INTRACORP. Today i recieved a letter from Cigna saying i was denied.. So i will wait and see and man my stations for a battle. dawn

Just a little FYI. Intracorp is a subsidary of Cigna whose job is is to review surgeries and make sure they are cost efficient. Kind of seems like having the fox guard the henhouse. I am due to have my surgery on 4/13/01 and after dealing with Cigna since July of 2000 and being told I would be covered now they say NO. They are absolutely incredible. Good luck to you.

Intercore has been very helpful to me to this point. I am supposed to have an answer as early as Friday but we will have to wait and see. I call them everyday and try very hard to be polite and understanding and in return they have been very helpful.
