Question:
How long does it take aetna ppo to approve for surgery???

I had Aetna PPO and it took 2 days for my approval.

At the time of my surgery I had AETNA PPO and it took three weeks to gain approval. It took that long mostly because it was the end of the year and Christmas and New Year's got in the way.

My approval took three weeks and that was also over the Christmas/New Year's holiday.

My approval took approximately 3 weeks. I was also told by Aetna PPO that they can't take longer than 1 month to respond.

I was approved with open choice ppo in 4 days even though it actully was almost 2 months since I went to the drs the first time. I was denied first time through with optimum choice through Hair Cuttery. My husband put me on his plan Aetna the no time. and they were wonderful.
