Question:
Has anyone been denied by Pacific Care Insurance?

I had surgery 2000, it took 2 weeks for approval from Pacific Care, I don't know about now. I had BMI 40 with chronic back and knee pain. So it probably depends on what your co morbs are.

Hiya Nancy, I had absolutely no problem with PacifiCare...they were quick and I did not have to talk to them at all...doctors office and surgeons office (Dr. Higa in Fresno) did it all...Good Luck

Hi...I was approved thru pacificare within 24 hours of submitting my paperwork, but the real issue for me was with the doctors group (for me it was Hill Physicians). As long as I jumped thru Hills hoops, I was approved so fast I was amazed. I think each Doctor group is different. I know I changed from Bay Valley to Hill Physicians because the requirements for approval thru Bay Valley were alot tougher than with Hill. FYI..I will be having my surgery at Stanford also.
