Needing info about Beech Street requirements for approval

Does anyone have info about Beech Streets approval process? Diet history etc? My coverage with them begins Dec 15 and after two other companies with exclusions I am hoping for good news.    — Leslie S. (posted on November 22, 2004)

Beech St was my ins 1 1/2yrs ago for my wls. First my wl dr sent a predetermination of need letter telling all about my co-morbitities such as hyper tension, diabetes, acid reflux, etc., including a list of all the diets I had been on over the years. Then when I called Beech St. to check on the progress they wanted proof I had been under a dr supervision for weight loss. I got copies of the notes for this & sent to Beech St. Also, I was in excess of 150# overweight.It was 6 wks from 1st off visit until I was apprvd. You will probably neeed to keep in touch with Beech St to keep things moving, but I always found them very friendly & helpful. My life has changed I I'll bet yours will too. Best of luck to you.
