Question:
Anyone with CIGNA PPO?

I am wanting some very personal information... Can anyone tell me the total out of pocket expenses under a Cigna PPO plan? The copay os 20% and that leads me to believe that I will be responsible for about $2,000.00. Does that sound about right?    — Christi M. (posted on July 18, 2000)

I also have CIGNA PPO and my out-of-pocket is 1150.00 is works out to be anywhere from 1000-2000 dollars on the back end because we have 80/20 insurance don't let it stress you. I had my surgery on July 5th and I am just starting to get the out of pocket bills. Just make sure no one bills you before surgery it is against the law to make you try and pay any of the out of pocket before hand and CIGNA PPO will help you with that I got a bill twice before my surgery both time I called CIGNA PPO and they took care of it for me. If you have any questions please feel free to email me directly. [email protected]

I have CIGNA PPO, and I went to an out-of-network surgeon for my WLS, so I was only approved for the 60/40 rate. But, my policy has an out-of-pocket maximum per year of 3,000 (including co-pays). So, once I had paid that amount, everything else was covered 100%.
