Does anyone have First Priority health that can tell me about approvals?

Hi Annette, while I don't have personal experience with which to answer you. I did a little research. If you go to the "insurers" link at the top of any page and click on PA (your state) you will get an alphabetical listing of insurance companies that other members of this site have dealt with. There are several First Priority listings and I don't believe that I saw any denials. Most were approved and one was still waiting. Each entry has a comment section and members tend to explain what they did to get approval. Also included is their e-mail address. Maybe you could e-mail members your specific questions.
