I am tricare too, but am state side post op. You can go to find peers and look up HI Hawaii and see if, any of the members there are military. Hope this helps you. Have a nice tour.

I am Tri-Care Prime also and had my surgery in Hawaii. The military hospital, Tripler, is no longer doing the surgeries. You will be referred out to Strab Hospital. The surgeon is Dr. Balfour. He is AWESOME! I don't live in Hawaii anymore...I am now in Las Vegas. You know how the military is! Email me if you have any questions! [email protected]

im champus tri care retired mil. USN you need to be 100 lbs over weight Hawaii sounds like a great place to have surgery!!! :)
